Dear Prayer Warriors,

Good news! Almost all my support has been provided so now I¡¦m lacking only $3/month support. Praise God with me! Truly He has fulfilled my expectations and even exceeded them. (Ps. 62:5 & Eph. 3:20-21)

Another item for praise is that I am having safe trips and very enjoyable times of fellowship as I get to see and visit with you. Everyone has been so kind and also generous in providing, not just for my needs, but also for some special things over and above those needs. fº Thank you!

There are still more meetings scheduled, and I plan to continue reporting to my supporters, preparing to leave for Peru in September, Lord willing. There are tests and doctor appointments to schedule for August. Praise the Lord, I had my normal physical earlier this month and all those tests have come back negative! God truly has brought me back to health. fº

These are the next meetings scheduled:

May 15 First Baptist Church, Cambria

May 18 Ladies Bible study, Grace Baptist Church, Paso Robles

May 22 Pine Grove Baptist Church, Santa Maria

May 29 First Baptist Church, Ducor

June 5 Deaf Baptist Church, Fremont

June 12 Orchard Avenue Baptist Church, Vacaville

June 19 First Baptist Church, Notus, ID

June 20 Ladies Missionary Fellowship, First Baptist, Notus, ID

As you can see, I will be traveling quite a bit over the next month. For the next couple of weeks, I will be staying with my aunt in Morro Bay (phone (805)772-2978). In June I will be up in the Bay area and then traveling through Oregon, Washington, and into the corner of Idaho. The car has been working beautifully. Pray that it will continue to do so, and that I ¡§may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men.¡¨ (2 Thess. 3:2)

News from Peru is that there is a small, but faithful, core group of believers that are attending Efata Baptist Church, and they now have 21 children in the deaf school. Continue to uphold Pastor Abraham and his wife, Patsy, as they teach and minister to the deaf. A special request concerns one of the deaf believers, Herbert. He is a young man in his twenties who has been missing from his home and his work since Sunday. His parents and his friends at Efata are very concerned for him.

Cassidys are still awaiting the court decision in their car accident case. Pray that they will have wisdom in dealing with their lawyer and others in the system. Truly, they need to be ¡§delivered from unreasonable and wicked men,¡¨ too. God has blessed them with fruit for their labor both in Iquitos and out in the river towns. To Him be the glory!

Rich and Dee Donaldson and Darlene Hull continue to serve in the Bible institute, where they now have 11 first year students. Pray for them and for Andy and Carol Patton, whose ministry is with the building the Roni Bowers Memorial Sports Center and doing sports evangelism among the youth of Iquitos.

May the Lord continue to bless you all and to multiply the fruit of your service for Him. Keep looking up!

Your sister in Christ,
Lynn Porter
