Dear Prayer Warriors,

Greetings from Peru in our Lord Jesus’ name! This will be a short one because I’m writing from the Lima airport. Praise the Lord I’m finally on my way to Chiclayo! During the next 9 days we will be working on plans for the January 2008 missions trip to the deaf along the Amazon River. Please pray for wisdom and discernment of the Lord’s will for this project. Also, I am to have opportunity to teach in Sunday School to deaf and hearing young women. Pray that the Holy Spirit will speak through me and make me a blessing to those in Chiclayo.

Thank you for your prayers for the ministry there in Iquitos. Paula, one of my neighbors who requested a Bible study, has met with me three times. Please continue to pray for her spiritual growth. At the Bible institute, we just finished a week of midterm exams. My students did fairly well. Praise the Lord! During the next couple of weeks they have a special module of classes, which has opened the opportunity for me to travel. Please continue to pray for the deaf community in Iquitos. They have such great spiritual needs.
